The Client

Brightfiber Textiles

Brightfiber Textiles is the world’s first 100% circular textile producer transforming post-consumer textiles into new collections. Their closed-loop system, based in Amsterdam, handles everything from textile take-back to finished products. They aim to lead a global shift toward sustainable, locally-produced truly circular textiles.

Our Work

We developed and executed a comprehensive PR strategy centered around a high-impact grand opening.

In the lead-up to the event, we ensured that founder and CEO Ellen Mensink gained national visibility, securing appearances on prominent news programs Nieuwsuur and RTL Nieuws, reaching millions across the country.

The event kicked off with an eager crowd lining up at the entrance, setting the stage for a full house. The celebration was highlighted by a ribbon-cutting ceremony led by Carice van Houten, the acclaimed actress and activist.

Founder Ellen Mensink, alongside Mumster, government officials, European and Turkish production partners, and prominent brands such as Patagonia, MARTAN, Patta Exclusive Sneakers BV, ANWB, and ID&T, collectively showcased their commitment to accelerate the transition towards a more circular fashion industry.

Two panels moderated by renowned fashion journalist Sophie Benson, reinforced a powerful message: while policy provides a foundation, industry leadership and collaboration are the true catalysts for change. Brightfiber Textiles has set a benchmark, showing that circular fashion is not just an aspiration but an achievable reality.

The Impact

The impact of our PR-strategy goes far beyond increasing brand awareness and numbers. It's about pushing legislation and driving change. Making sure that pioneering brands join forces with Brightfiber Textiles to force a breakthrough in the fashion industry. Our PR-strategy unravels the complexity of textile recycling, underlines the urgency for brands to take action and sparks policy makers to get in action.

'I can not wait for more people to join and make this movement and company really big'.
