Truly inspiring people

The most important reason that I started working in the sustainable fashion industry was the chance to work with like minded and inspiring people. Every day I am in contact with the most dedicated people that are working really hard for positive change. In times when I feel down and move in a low frequency, I look around me and be grateful for all those great people around me. That is why I wanted to share a list of sustainable fashion bloggers of who I think you should follow. A list of power women who want to contribute in their own way including small bloggers and the bigger bloggers. I think everyone can be an inspiration, but almost all these girls all helped me in some way and now it is my turn to shine some light on them.

Stephanie - Let's Talk Slow

This is Stephanie from the blog Let’s Talk Slow. The first time I saw her I was mesmerized by her beautiful smile. Such a friendly and intelligent woman. At that time I organised some sustainable fashion events and she was always there to support my ideas. Stephanie is a real traveler and lost her heart to New York. If you ever going to New York and want to go to the best fair fashion spots you should definitely check out her blog! I am also really proud of Stephanie for putting all of her work in her first master piece the E-book 'Sustainable Fashion', which you can order on her blog. I even have the honor to be in it with my documentary ‘The Positive Chain of Change’. So follow this babe and you will definitely find your conscious way in fashion!

Lauresque

This babe is a real artist. I first met her during a photoshoot of a sustainable fashion webshop and she was such a professional. What I didn’t know is that she wasn’t only a really talented photographer, she was also a great writer who shared her vision on living a sustainable lifestyle. She wants to make sustainable fashion more fashion. An idea which I support completely and think is very necessary to attract the interest for sustainable fashion by a larger audience.

When Sarah Smiles

Sarah is such a beauty from the in and outside. She is always there to support your sustainable fashion initiative and share it with her audience. She is working really hard to guide the consumer to more conscious choices in great style. And if that isn’t enough, she is also helping sustainable brands to get more visibility. A true heroine if you ask me.

My Slow World

Alexandra has been working for The Dutch Sustainable Fashionweek as a volunteer, but she wanted to do more. She started her own blog to guide you in the complex world of sustainable fashion. I met her when she donated some of her clothes in The Impact Shop. She is also ambassador for Cosh, so Alexandra is also doing everything she can to make a positive impact in the fashion industry and slow down fast fashion.

Soulstores

If you want to discover the true story behind stores with a soul, I will have to warn you for a new addiction. If you check out the blog Soulstores you will feel the urge to visit all those beautiful stores with fair products and an inspiring story. Talita is a very talented blogger and owner of her own Soulstore in Utrecht. For me she is a big inspiration to be ambitious and loving at the same time. Happy to call Talita my partner in making a positive impact. Would be no fun without her!

The Green Monki

Chloé is a real conscious babe, with a deep political interest. She is one of the few who writes about fashion, traveling and other aspects of living a sustainable lifestyle and is also writing about politics. That is a woman to my heart and deserves a spot in this list.

A Sustainable Mess

Alisson is such a beautiful mother with a stunning smile. I really like her because she is really honest, as you can tell by the name of her blog ‘A Sustainable Mess’. For me she is that example for living a conscious life knowing that it isn’t easy and we all should be more honest about it so we can help each other being open in order to really connect. I have been following Alison for a long time now and I hope that our ways will cross soon, to really connect.

Blog By Jenn

Jennifer is real mom. I didn’t put her in this list because she is your typical sustainable fashion blogger, but because she is just being really honest about all things in life as being a mother. She calls herself a sustainable fashion activista, so I find that a great combination and that's why she deserves a spot in this list of inspiring women.
