Amsterdam - We all have been there. Not able to make any decision. Real often we are afraid of making the bigger decisions of life of which we don't know the outcome of. Why? Because we are afraid of taking risks. Most of us are raised with the idea of making logical decisions and not listen to our emotions. Not listening to your heart is the biggest risk you can take. When we don't take risks in life, we all might end up in the most dangerous zone there is, the comfortzone. Ofcourse it is okay to stay in the comfortzone for a while, but getting stuck in the comfortzone for a long time leads us to regrets. An Australian nurse Bronnie Ware worked for several years with patients in the last twelve weeks of their life. She decided to ask the patients: 'What do you regret most in life?'
This is the top-5 of regrets:
1. I wish I'd had the courage to live a life true to myself, not the life others expected of me.
2. I wish I hadn't worked so hard.
3. I wish I'd had the courage to express my feelings.
4. I wish I had stayed in touch with my friends.
5. I wish that I had let myself be happier.
The number one regret is all about being strong enough to life a true life to yourself and follow your intuition. Only this will lead you to true happiness and success. So that's why MUMSTER gave a workshop in collaboration with the Creative Women Collective and Annanouka Coaching to learn how to act now and make a positive impact in your life and of the life of others, by following your intuition.
After MUMSTER shared her experience with follwing her intuition and explaining why she is so convinced of trusting your own gut feeling, the participants did a small meditation with the guidance of the conscious coach Anouk Wortel. During this meditation you can really become aware of the now and listen to your little voice, called intuition.
'Following your intuition means you hear your own voice louder than others.'
After the meditation the women took a seat and got their own working book with all kinds of assignments with creating the vision board as the final assignment. They started with writing down their fears and acts to turn these fears into solutions. They had to find out why they want to contribute to a better world and why they want to do it in their own way and why they haven't started yet. What is holding them back? And what are they going to do about that NOW?
After answering all these personal questions it was time to visualise. This tool has been used by all kinds of successful entrepreneurs. So we learned the participants how to create their own vision board and help to bring their ideas for the future into the reality, right now, by thinking of simple steps with big impact. After this workshop they could start acting today.
This workshop was a very special and emotional experience for everyone present. That's why this was a perfect start of a long-term guidance program. So if you are interested in this program as well, you can contact us with the 'Act to make an impact' form on the contact page. Make sure you will not regret anything in your life and start acting NOW!
